Such a concept of a concert was created a long time ago, just like the pieces that musicians play or sing on stage.<\/p>\n<p>However, if the repertoire includes compositions that were created today or a few decades earlier, there is a high probability that the musicians&#039; discipline will be completely absent, because that is what is required of them by the works they are performing.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Why is the concert of contemporary classical music not banned?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>How restrained could you call someone who riots\u00a0<strong>she taps her foot on the floor while playing the violin<\/strong>, or someone mumbling something or\u00a0<strong>he shouts while playing the harp<\/strong>? I think you would use a completely different term.<\/p>\n<p>The same is true for a pianist who stands while playing and actually touches the strings of his instrument more than the frets, or for a clarinetist who little by little\u00a0<strong>he takes out his phone and plays some sounds from it<\/strong>. Yes, from the phone. He tells a story with his language or just encourages us to create our own and evokes emotions and states in us, which will be as different as we are as individuals.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800080;\">What else is different?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Contemporary composers often explore the possibilities of sound and experiment in various ways - whether by combining seemingly incompatible instruments and their colors (for example, the ensemble consists of a block flute, trumpet, harp and harmonica) or by devising some\u00a0<strong>new playing techniques<\/strong>\u00a0(which include the aforementioned kicking, shouting, but also many other things) and introducing different ones\u00a0<strong>sounds from everyday life<\/strong>\u00a0(the sound of a traffic jam, a melody from video games or mobile applications).<\/p>\n<p>It is not rare that they are also represented\u00a0<strong>video projections<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>poetic\/dramatic parts<\/strong>, which makes the contemporary music concert a multimedia event that expands the focus from only the auditory to the visual aspect. Rather, they introduce listeners to what they are about to hear,\u00a0<strong>tell us something about that composition<\/strong>\u00a0how would we\u00a0<strong>easier to connect<\/strong>\u00a0with her and learned something about the very process of creation of that work from different angles.<\/p>\n<h5><\/h5>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800080;\">Where can I attend a concert of contemporary classical music?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Recently, I was at one such event in Novi Sad, in the organization <a href=\"https:\/\/savremenamuzika.02hero.rs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Interdisciplinary Center for Contemporary Music Contact<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Vesna Mitar<\/strong>, flautist and founder\u00a0<em>the only one<\/em>\u00a0of the association dedicated to the promotion of classical contemporary music in our country, believes that this is precisely the case\u00a0<strong>approaching the audience through conversation<\/strong>\u00a0about her and her relations with other spheres of art and society is the right way to become closer to the listeners.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/savremenamuzika.02hero.rs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1306 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/idealab.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/vesnamitar-300x207.jpg\" alt=\"Vesna Mitar Concert of contemporary classical music\" width=\"445\" height=\"307\" title=\"\"><\/a><em>Vesna Mitar<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&quot;Our goal is to direct the listeners towards new sound practices and the discovery of contemporary repertoire, which is very little represented in our country. I think that contemporary composers have a lot to offer the music scene and that we should listen to what they are telling us, because there are, among us, <strong>we live in the same time and space<\/strong>&quot;, explains Vesna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Indeed, the emotions and thoughts that the concert at which they performed incited in me <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/savremenamuzika.02hero.rs\/o-nama\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">members<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"> Center Kontakt, they are completely different from those that appear when I visit an event where musicians perform, for example. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">compositions <\/span><a style=\"font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=de-NLJ0doao\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Beethoven<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">,\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ovFPKu00cCc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Tchaikovsky<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">,\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WiU_1nbpY7Q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Rachmaninoff<\/a><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Except completely<strong>\u00a0surprising sound effects<\/strong>, ways of playing different instruments and in general\u00a0<strong>atmosphere<\/strong>\u00a0at a concert, which is a completely new and great experience for me, the music of contemporary composers makes you feel more present in that piece, like\u00a0<strong>participant and important factor in its creation<\/strong>.
