The International Festival of Science and Education 2017 took place on May 13 and 14 in the central campus of the University of Novi Sad. The Festival was dedicated to Nikola Tesla, and the main theme of the Festival was Electricity and Telecommunications.
The organizer of the Festival is the University of Novi Sad, and the general sponsor is the Provincial Government of AP Vojvodina and the Provincial Secretariat for Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The aim of this manifestation, which is being held for the ninth time in a row at the University of Novi Sad, is to popularize science as a socially significant activity, while presenting modern achievements and current research in the world and in our country. The diverse educational, interactive and interesting program of this year's festival included workshops from engineering, technological, natural, social and medical disciplines, as well as several scientific and popular panels with other accompanying content.
Visitors to the iDEAlab stand had the opportunity to hear and learn more about iDEAlab, as well as to get to know the equipment located in the iDEAlab premises in Novi Sad, such as 3D scanners, 3D printers, Arduino and Lego Mindstorm sets
