Event content

The competition in solving case studies is designed so that teams of four or five students each receive a case study in which the situation and tasks of the company whose problem they need to solve are described in the necessary details. After receiving the study, the contestants have between four and five hours of work, depending on the format chosen by the organizers. During the solution of their case studies, all teams are isolated in classrooms at the university without access to the Internet and mobile phones, and then after the allotted time they submit their solutions.

Presentations are made on the following competition day, where the teams present their solutions to the jury and the audience. They have 20 minutes to present, followed by 10 minutes for the jury to ask questions based on the presentation. The entire presentation of the work and the work itself are scored according to certain rules and the ranking is done according to the sum of points obtained. After that, the jury and the organizers solemnly award diplomas to the teams that took the first three places.

The Elevator Pitch discipline is based on short idea presentations where teams of 3 to 4 members have 4 hours to work on solving problems set by the company. When the 4 hours given to the contestants expires, they submit their solution and have 60 seconds to present it to a jury made up of professors and company representatives. When the presentation is over, 10 minutes remain for questions from the jury.

A debate is a formal discussion in which two opposing sides exchange arguments in support of different points of view on a topic, respecting pre-agreed rules. The competition uses the US parliamentary government format. Teams in the debate consist of two members, the president and a member of the government, that is, the leader and a member of the opposition. The decision on the winner is made by a jury made up of professors.

Students from state and private faculties from Novi Sad, Belgrade, Subotica, Kragujevac and Niš have participated in previous competitions, which all together indicates the durability and success of this kind of event.
